Meet Jeff Ryznar, Owner 898 Marketing

For over 15 years, Jeffrey Ryznar has led the development and implementation of strategic marketing efforts for some of the world’s most recognized brands in advertising, automotive, technology, energy, as well as sports and entertainment brands.  With a unique perspective from both consultative and corporate perspectives, Jeff believes that effective marketing is only achieved by being held to delivering accountable and quantifiable results.  With a passion for the digital space, his experiences, successes and unique insight has been featured in national publications as well as in international marketing and digital conferences as a panelist or feature speaker.

Jeffrey Ryznar, a 1998 graduate of Ursuline High School, received his degree in Marketing from Miami University in 2002. Through his career, he has held senior management marketing positions for clients such as Ford Motor Company in (New York) and General Motors (Chicago) in coordinating local dealer association marketing efforts throughout the country, including the Mahoning Valley. He later went on to oversee the strategic marketing initiatives for the Cleveland Cavaliers and then served as Vice President of Marketing and part owner of San Francisco-based engagement automation company, Phizzle, where he earned them the title of one of Forbes Magazine’s Most Promising Companies in America. Today, Jeff is owner of 898 Marketing, a strategic marketing agency delivering affordable and accountable business development solutions for companies in the Mahoning Valley. He is also a partner of a YBI company, OrderCare, a digital solution simplifying the referral process for independent medical service providers, and Business Unfiltered, a team of leadership and sales trainers who use a real and candid approach to get companies back to doing business the right way.

Jeff proudly serves as a member of both the Board of Directors at Ursuline High School and the Board of Trustees at the Youngstown Country Club, an advisor for the Defiance College Board for Sports Management as well as Miami University’s Strategy Works programs. For the second year in a row, he was selected as a judge for the 2017 Cynopsis Media National Sports Awards. Jeff is also active in the community where he serves as an Associate of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, a member of the Akron Children’s Hospital Community Leadership Council and a member of Leadership Mahoning Valley.
